Cracking Disruption in the Classroom
North Beds NASUWT is offering members the opportunity to attend a FREE classroom behaviour management training event on Tuesday 24th November at the Swan Hotel, Bedford, with Nicola Morgan. Members will receive a letter from the Local Secretary.
We are also offering this training to any NQTs whether they are members or not.
With over fifteen years’ experience as a teacher in mainstream and special school settings, Nicola Morgan brings a practical approach to behaviour management, with solutions that work in the classroom. Nicola provides practical answers to the everyday problems faced by teachers on the playground and in the classroom.
After graduating Nicola found herself working in some of the more challenging schools. “I found I had a knack for dealing with some of the more difficult children and sorting out situations”, says Nicola. She went on to write a number of books about dealing with behaviour, based on the practical approach she used to deal with children in the schools where she worked. Nicola now delivers high quality training to the education sector nationally and internationally.
Nicola’s sessions are fun and extremely practical – not just wonderful theory!
‘Everyone I have spoken to was really positive and saying that was the best Inset they’ve had.’ (A Bucknall, SMT, Lady Margaret Secondary School, London)
‘Fantastic understanding of the role. The trainer gave a very interesting and informative course. She made it enjoyable and made us all feel at ease. I can now go back to my role feeling a more confident.’ (P Boyce, Fairfields School, Peterborough)
The event is at The Swan Hotel, The Embankment, Bedford with refreshments at 6.30pm and the session from 7 – 9pm. Places are limited so you should book your place by contacting Peter Wathen on email@example.com and confirmation will be to your email address.
